Paweł Chojecki & Joe Łosiak in the USA 27.05 – 6.66.2023

The beginnings of this extraordinary journey date back to December 2021, erstwhile pastor Paweł Chojecki met with Joe Łosiak in Cracow – a Protestant missionary of Polish origin who brought to Poland during the communist era a gospel about free salvation in Jesus, preached later as part of the Oase Movement of Fr Franciszek Blachnicki. Traveling to the US is 1 of the fruits of this over 2 years of cooperation. It was Joe Molyak and his wife Anna who arranged and organized the events that took place during this journey to the United States.

The intent of the journey was to rise the Polish spirit, as well as to convince American Christians that Poland very much needs support from them, due to the fact that people in our country are becoming more open to another paths than Catholicism.

The journey was attended by pastor Paweł Chojecki together with her spouse, representatives of the fresh Covenant Church in Lublin, as well as participants of the MegaChurch task from the USA and Canada. Visit to the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, 26.05.2023.

The first point of the show was a visit to the Moody Bible Institute, which is located in the very centre of Chicago. It is 1 of the best Bible colleges/ colleges/university in the world. Moody Bible Institute has a very well-known release, as well as 1 of the largest Christian radio stations in the US. The past of D.L. Moody’s life, the founder of college, shows that even in the worst conditions, with modest beginnings, success can be achieved with God’s help.

Meeting with Polonia at CrossPoint Church in Ingleside, 26.05.20123.

The first gathering with Polonia took place at the CrossPoint Church in Ingleside in the suburbs of Chicago, where Pastor Paweł Chojecki gave the lecture "Will we finish the Solidarity Department?". [Lecture]

Meeting with Polonia at The Moody Church in Chicago, 27.05.2023

The second gathering with Polonia, organized by Joe and Anna Łosaków, took the form of a conference on the "Face with the fact of the Gospel" and was held at The Moody Church in downtown Chicago, close Moody Bible Institute college. They performed: Pastor Greg Krumes, pastor of our church Paweł Chojecki and Joe Łosiak. A peculiarly touching lecture was given by Pastor Greg, who supported Joe Łosiak on his first mission to Poland in the 1970s and for tens of years has persistently served Jesus. Meeting at the home of Tadeusz and Iwona in Chicago, 27.05.20123.

Saturday evening we met at the home of Tadeusz and Iwona, Poles surviving on the outskirts of Chicago. respective twelve people from various local Bible churches came to this open Polish house. The evening was spent talking, eating together, singing and praying.

Meeting with Polonia in the Polish Christian Center in Chicago, 28.05.2012

The next day, everyone attended a Sunday gathering at the Polish Christian Center in Chicago, where Pastor Chojecki gave a fiery sermon saying that evangelization should go beyond the usual patterns. The sermon has already seen respective 1000 people online. We were delighted by God erstwhile we prayed and sang together. [Teaching]

Meeting with David and Donalyn Brattons, American missionaries

After arriving in Florida, we moved to Orlando. That's where Joe and Anna Elsakov opened their doors for us. There, too, we had the honour of gathering David and Donalyn Brattons – missionaries who in 1976 went to Poland on a training mission of leaders of the Light-Life Movement Fr Blachnicki. They stayed in Lublin for 2 years.

The second gathering with the Brattons took place at their home and was an chance to decision to the times of the Oase movement of Fr. The Brattons told us quite a few stories about their Christian life, and besides shared memories of their stay in Lublin in the 1970s. We besides learned that David was a chaplain of celebrated American sports teams.

The courage of David and Donalyn, who preached the gospel in the communist state at the time, inspired us to make an even greater sacrifice to God. Meeting with Polonia in Northland Church, Orlando, 03.06.2023.

Another gathering with Polonia – in Orlando, Florida – took the form of a conference. It was attended by Dr. Jim Henry, erstwhile president of the confederate Baptists in the USA, Dr. Grant C. Richison, pastor of 1 of the largest Baptist churches in Canada, Dr. Josh Laxton, pastor of Northland Church, and pastor of Paweł Chojecki. In the evening of the same day, we attended the service of the Church of Northland Church. The teaching on that day was conducted on a can of an highly popular Broadway musical "Alexander Hamilton", which tells the communicative of 1 of the founding fathers of the United States. Visit to the Live Oaks Community Church in The Villages, Florida and meet Zbigniew Żukowski, 04.06.2023.

On the following Sunday, at the invitation of the Brattons, we attended the Sunday gathering of the American Live Oaks Community church. We've been very warmly received! We were seized by the warm and warm atmosphere of the family. Meeting with Polonia at Grace Community Church in Sarasota, Florida, 04.06.2023.

The last gathering with American Polonia took place in Sarasota on the Gulf of Mexico. On that day, a lecture entitled “How to turn the destiny of Poland and Polonia?” was given by Pastor Paweł Chojecki. [Lecture]

Meeting with Gus Davies, pastor of Northland Church, Orlando

At Northland Church, Orlando, we met an extraordinary man – pastor Gus Davies, whom Joe and Anna Łosiak invited to their home. Pastor Gus, who was born in Sierra Leone, Africa, told us a thrilling witness to his conversion and service to Jesus in the West African countries and later in the United States. That's the kind of communicative you remember for the remainder of your life!

Sentence in Pastor's Trial, 05.06.2023.

A visit to the United States of America took place in the shadow and in the context of the process of Paweł Chojecki, pastor of the fresh Covenant Church in Lublin and editor-in-chief of tv Go Under Current. During his stay in the U.S., the Lublin Court of Appeal issued a final judgement on 5 June – he was sentenced to 8 months of restrictions on freedom in the form of social work and judged 22 1000 PLN of trial costs. Pastor Chojecki was convicted of criticizing the Catholic Church and the Polish President.

The pastor announced an appeal to the European Court of Justice in Strasbourg, calling the conviction a violation of freedom of expression and freedom of religion and a judicial crime akin to what is happening in Russia, Belarus and Communist China. Seeing Poland turn towards spiritual authoritarianism, the pastor announced a start in the presidential election in 2025. [LIVE of the transportation of the judgment]

Michael’s baptism from Calgary, Sarasota, Florida

These sad moments of judgement for Pastor Chojecki did not prevent us from enjoying God’s grace and blessing. God kept raising our spirits and letting us know. 1 specified minute was the baptism of a recently born associate of our squad – Michał from Canada. To baptize him, we drove all the way to the Gulf of Mexico in the Sarasota area. The setting sun and a wide sandy beach welcomed us. In specified wonderful circumstances Michael showed that he wanted to follow Jesus. [Relationship]

Back to Poland

On 6 June 2023, it was time to part. Joe and Anna Elk had known each another before, but it was not until we lived in their home, long conversations, meals and joint ventures that made us close as a family. God has put large people in our way at all turn. The “accidentally” gathering on board a flight attendant who turned out to be a Christian, or Polka opened to the gospel “accidentally” met in a store in Orlando are just a fewer examples of this divine action! So we returned to Poland full of enthusiasm and inspiration, which we drew in the country of free, courageous and dedicated people! To be continued...

Missionary Joe Łosiak – the boy of Polish expatriates in Chicago, understood and accepted the wonderful good news of free salvation in Jesus at the age of 14. He prayed that his parents' homeland, dominated by Catholicism, would hear the gospel. He did not fishy that God would let him to play a large function in this. It was thanks to him that the most effective method of evangelization of the 20th century came to Poland. He introduced her to Cardinal Wojtyla, and then Father Blachnicki, whose oase movement spread it and effectively applied it. For many years he has been coming to Poland all year due to the fact that he inactive dreams of the revolution of Jesus in our country. Pastor Paul Chojecki met for the first time a year and a half ago. They complement each another very well in the work of evangelization and have already managed to implement respective projects together. The Pod Prąd Publishing home has just published the book “The Revolution of Jesus. Apprenticeship across” by Joe Elk.

Pastor Paweł Chojecki – pastor of the Church of the fresh Covenant in Lublin, founder and editor-in-chief of net tv and monthly magazine “Go Under the Current”, as well as the publishing home “Pod Prąd”. A fewer years ago, he initiated the Megachurch project, an initiative to evangelize Poland based on 4 pillars: strong local churches, modern media, Christian university and Christians in politics. In June 2022, together with the Rector of the Bible Seminary in Irpien, the pastor Dr. Igor Yaremchuk appointed the Polish-Ukrainian Bible Institute in Lublin.
