Oskar Shafarovich, known for his political activity in the youth of Law and Justice, was the victim of a violent attack. As reported, the incidental occurred on September 9, 2024, before 4:00 p.m., in a tiny settlement store. The attacker, a young man, began calling Shafarovich and threatening him with criminal threats.
In his entry on social media Szafarowicz described details of the event. According to his report, it all started with verbal attacks. ‘He shouted: ‘You j* Oh, my God * Writer’; ‘I will crush you with a writing mando’; ‘Zaj* you with a writing boy of a bitch***!’ he remembers.
After leaving the store, the aggressor rode up on his bike, repeating his threats again. The situation escalated erstwhile the attacker entered a physical attack – he pulled Shafarovich, hit him and kicked him.
"He snorted his fists for further punches," Szafarowicz adds.
Witness response
Fortunately, there were respective people on the scene who reacted to aggression. Although their intervention was mainly verbal, Oskar Szafarowicz stresses that it was “invaluable and possibly decisive in the context of the further possible course of the situation”. This support proved crucial due to the fact that the attacker left the scene, but he spared no further threats, shouting, "There is no fucking place on earth for writers."
After the attack, Shafarovich went to the police station, where he reported an effort to beat and direct criminal threats. He stressed that the attack he experienced was not a single case, but a culmination of long-standing hatred against him.
Earlier today, I was attacked by a young, aggressive man.
It started with names and criminal threats in a small, residential store. He shouted, “You j*** the writer”, “I will crush you with a written mando”, “Zaj*** you're a literate boy of a bitch***”!

"Heat and hatred Aces"
Shafarovich expressed his bitterness and fatigue in his entry. "The half of the year of the ocean of hate, the foul speech of hatred, attacks on me from left-wing liberal media, bullied at the university, and now this... Aggression in a violent form", he concludes.
A young politician does not cover that what happened at the store was a shock to him, and emotions have not yet subsided. He finished his entry, stating: “Today I have no strength for a longer comment”.
Escalating hatred in Public Space
The incident, the victim of which was Shafarovich, may be a disturbing signal of an increase in tension in public space. Politics, both nationally and locally, is increasingly a origin of utmost emotions that can turn into physical violence.
Shafarovich clearly blames the people and the environment, who in his opinion advance the speech of hatred towards the sympathizers of the ruling party. It indicates that these actions have a direct impact on social sentiments and have led to escalation of aggression against him.
