Krzysztof Rzoniec: Drivers are 1 of the most persecuted groups in Poland. The Confederation, from the very beginning of its existence, has been in the position of defending drivers, defending free movement. Unfortunately, drivers are not the favorites of the ruling, the officials who keep laying further logs at their feet. Their imagination has no boundaries, and the laws they introduce are constantly attacking drivers.
– In 2024 the registration fee enters into force, in 2026, another taxation on the possession of a combustion car, and already in 2035 the ban on combustion cars enters into force.
These first 2 taxes are taxes that the Government of Law and Justice agreed to as part of the KPO's milestones. And the ban on exhaust gas by 2035 is besides a yes, the silent consent of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, who had the right to veto in 2020, could veto it.
– The Government of Law and Justice is an anti-car government! It is simply a government that implements the politics of Eurocrats from Brussels, who hit, among others, Polish drivers.
@KrzysztofRzonca:
Drivers are 1 of the most persecuted groups in Poland and the EU! They are not favourites of rulers, officials, or legislators. There are no limits to the number of ideas they throw at their feet. And this is just the beginning. Only the Confederate from the beginning... pic.twitter.com/OoZLR2WpM
– I come from a tiny town from the south of Poland. Residents who commute to Nowy Sącz from neighbouring communes specified as Kozenna, Gołkowice do not imagine surviving without cars! It hits the poorest! Eurocrats from Brussels or Warsaw officials think to themselves and say, “Get on your bike, change to public transport”. They're detached from reality! It is impossible, in most places in Poland, to change to a bicycle or to public transport.
If individual can stand, you can buy an electrical car, but it is simply a luxury product, a product that is not for everyone. Therefore, only and only the Confederate stands in the position of defending average people, people working, who frequently can thus only decision to work.
– We stand for free movement, free movement in Poland. If we don't halt this, it's the free movement that could be at risk. According to the figures, as many as 41% of cars in the country are over 20 years old. Poland has 1 of the oldest car fleets in Europe. Officials will shortly ban us from entering large cities. Only the Confederacy opposes specified solutions and stands up for drivers.
