New Russian submarine in the Baltic Sea

Over the past 3 decades, the number of Russian submarines belonging to the Baltic Fleet has steadily declined and yet reached the level of 1 ship. It is the submarine Dmitrov, 487, task 877 Paltus. It is the oldest classical submarine under the Russian flag. It was commissioned on September 25, 1986, back in the russian era. After moving to the Baltic Sea, it was utilized for many years to train abroad crews from countries that bought task 877 ships. In those years, this task was besides named Warszawianka, and in the NATO code Kilo. The name Warszawianka initially referred to export versions, but it has become so popular that present it is commonly utilized to mention to older units of the 877 task and the newer ones, i.e. the 636 project.
