New rules for calculating seniority, longer leave. Changes from January 1, 2026

The Ministry of Family, labour and Social Policy has prepared a draft amendment to the labour Code, which is presently in the phase of inter-ministerial consultations and opinions. The fresh regulations aim to grow the list of periods of professional activity that will be included in the dimension of service, and the changes are to enter into force on January 1, 2026.
