Stańczyk announces changes
WOT commander, Brig. Gen. Krzysztof Stańczyk, in an interview with the diary of Legal Newspaper, informs that the changes presume the creation of specialist branches, artillery and drone units. Stańczyk emphasizes the crucial presence of WOT soldiers on the Polish-Belarusian border, where 1.5 1000 soldiers were active at the highest point and now over 700.
WOT plans to make respective support companies equipped with artillery systems capable of damaging 20-25 km, including 8 artillery batteries on 105 mm towed guns under the Tulacz programme. The choice of the right cannon is presently underway.

The war in Ukraine showed the increasing function of drones in the battlefield. presently WOT have FlyEye and Warmate reconnaissance drones equipped. Brigadier General Tomasz Stańczyk reminds that drone troops are being formed, in which WOT will besides participate.
By 2035, WOT plans to get more than 3,500 FlyEye kits, shock and reconnaissance drones, light rotors, and kits supporting logistics subdivisions, based on experience from Ukraine.
Currently, after 7 years of creation, the WOT has a population of 40,000 people, with a mark population of 53,000. It is hard to find clearly whether a goal can be achieved.
