Local government support for Campus Poland

Apart from Pomerania, many another voivodships and cities were financially supported by Campus Poland. The full sum transferred by various local governments amounted to over 923 1000 PLN. Olsztyn (100 1000 PLN) and Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship (300 1000 PLN) contributed the biggest contribution. which have organised promotional services for the region.

Controversy and discussions on funding

Campus backing has become the subject of public debate, peculiarly in the context of allegations of illegal run financing by any political parties. The PKW (National Election Commission) rejected the PiS financial study from the 2023 parliamentary election, which sparked controversy over allegations of double standards.

PiS representatives claimed that self-government support for Campus was an illegal financing of the PO campaign, which PKW did not include in its decisions.

Promotion of regions and cities

Despite the controversy, many local governments, including from Pomerania, found participation in Campus beneficial in terms of promoting the region and establishing contacts with young leaders. I wonder if that's what they thought of taxpayers. The event according to PO activists is becoming an increasingly crucial platform for cities and voivodships to present their assets and attract investments and tourists.
