The ZUS Ombudsman recalled that fourteenth pension would be paid automatically without additional applications being required. Who gets the full amount of fourteen?
In 2024 the fourteenth pension will be PLN 1780.96 gross, which is what the minimum pension is now. For those receiving higher benefits, fourteen will be reduced in accordance with the “gold for gold”. For example, if the pension is PLN 3500 gross, 14th pension will be reduced by PLN 600, i.e. it will be PLN 1180.96 gross.
Income and exclusion limits
The benefit will not be granted if its amount is little than PLN 50. This means that persons whose pension exceeds PLN 4630.96 gross will not receive fourteen. In addition, the right to benefit is not granted to persons whose pension payment will be suspended at 31 August 2024, for example due to an excess of the limits of the benefits.
Deduction protection and additional information
The 14th pension will be free of deductions. Only the wellness contribution and the advance on income taxation will be collected from the benefit. Number of beneficiaries
Fourteen will receive about 8.9 million pensioners and pensioners. Of these, 6.4 million people will receive a full benefit, and 2.5 million people will receive a reduced benefit, due to their basic benefit exceeding PLN 2900 per month.
