New arrangements for the housing scandal. The converts made a deal with each other

According to the Onet portal's findings, Karol Nawrocki and his wife Marta took over the studio in Gdańsk, making a deal... with themselves. The transaction took place without the participation of Mr Jerzy Zz. On the 1 hand, the Nawrocks performed as attorneys of Jerzy Z., on the another – as buyers. The portal presented the course of the transaction.


The beginning of the case dates back to 2010. At that time, Jerzy Z., who was struggling with financial and legal problems, applied in Gdańsk master's degree for the acquisition of a municipal flat occupied since 1997 – a studio with an area of 28.5 sq m.

The place was valued at PLN 120 thousand, but thanks to a 90-percent discount the man could acquisition it for only PLN 12.6 thousand. The formal owner of the premises Jerzy Z. became in October 2011, a transfer of PLN 12,603,15 was made from the individual account of Karol Nawrocki.

"In fresh days Nawrocki tells us that he gave the money to buy Mr.Jerzem and it was Mr.Jerzem who paid the city's money - this is not true. We have a copy of the payment order for the flat that Nawrocki made on October 20, 2011." – reports the portal.

On that day Nawrocki paid cash in 1 of the branches of the Millennium Bank, ordering it to be transferred to the city registry with the title: "buy out the premises [address] Mr Jerzy Z. [full name]". The transfer was signed by Nawrocki himself.



In 2012, Nawrocks signed a notarial pre-contractual agreement with Jerzy Z., which allowed them to take over the flat after the five-year ban on its sale. This paper was presented by PiS associate Przemysław Czarnek during the Tuesday press conference.

Czarnek claimed that there was a evidence in it that the Nawrocci already paid Jerzemu Z. 120 1000 PLN, and this receiving of money confirmed. That's the deal.

However – as Onet stated – Czarnek was not telling the truth. Journalists of the portal reached information from which it appears that Jerzy Z. did not receive any money from Nawrocki, "which would mean proof of untruth in the notarial act".

The converts sold the flat to themselves


The key component of the case is paragraph 5 of the preliminary sale agreement. According to his content, Jerzy Z. gave Marcie and Karol Nawrocki the power of lawyer to have the premises which he was about to sale to them, and authorized them to enter into a contract... for themselves. Moreover, the power of lawyer was "irrevocable".

When the city ban on sales expired in 2017, The Navrocks have finalized the takeover of the apartment. In March of the same year, they appeared before the notary on the 1 hand as attorneys of Jerzy Ż., on the another – as customers buying the premises. This means that they formally sold their flat to Jerzy Z. and did not gotta inform him about it.

The notarial act states that "Karol Tadeusz Nawrocki and Marta Sandra Nawrocka, acting on behalf of Jerzy Ż., in the performance of the preliminary sale agreement dated 24 January 2012, sale themselves the property rights of the residential premises".

There is besides a message that according to Onetu, the fact is that "the full sales price of PLN 120,000 has already been paid to the seller at the conclusion of the preliminary contract, which the seller confirmed".

The Nawrocts keep that they paid this amount in instalments, covering, among others, the costs of surviving for 14 years, as the PiS candidate for president spoke about in a conversation with Bogdan Rymanowski.
