New defence bill makes it harder to retreat troops from Europe and promotes a permanent presence in Poland

A fresh defence spending bill released Tuesday imposes further restrictions and Congressional oversight on the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Europe and includes provisions to advance a permanent troop presence in Poland. The bill besides talks about redeploying U.S. forces to NATO's east flank.
