On 3 November 2025, a ceremony was held at the Centre for Rocket and Artillery Training in Toruń. Colonel Roman Piotrowski passed command of the unit and Colonel Paweł Jędryczka assumed the duties of Chief.
The ceremony, conducted in an elevated atmosphere, was held at the accompaniment of the Military Orchestra from Toruń, which gave the event a unique and solemn character.
The appeal was attended by distinguished guests, among others: 1st Deputy Commander General of the Armed Forces General Sławomir Owczarek, Inspector of Training DG RSZ Gen. Piotr Kriese, Head of the Board of rocket Forces and Artillery Inspectorate of Land Forces DG RSZ Colonel Andrzej Kupis, commander of artillery units, erstwhile Commandants of the Centre, commanders of units and uniforms of the garrison of Toruń, representatives of local authorities and clergy. Soldiers and employees of the Centre took a peculiar place among the participants – the main hosts of the ceremony and its most crucial participants.
During the ceremony, individual orders were read, and then a symbolic handover of the Centre's banner was held – a sign of tradition, honor and faithfulness. The authoritative part besides featured commemorative speeches, which highlighted the importance of the CSWRiA for the improvement of Rocket and Artillery Army and its contribution to the training process of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Poland.
During the appeal, the erstwhile Commandant of the Centre, Colonel Piotrowski, thanked all the soldiers and employees of the Centre for their years of service, loyalty and dedication, and invited guests for their cooperation and support. He highlighted the professionalism of the staff, the engagement of soldiers and the continuous improvement of the Centre's teaching potential, highlighting the function of Toruń as the spiritual capital of Polish artillery. He expressed his gratitude for the chance to run specified an honorable institution and wished his successor success and further success in developing the Centre.
Consistent with the duties of the Commandant of the Centre, Col. Jędrycz, thanking for the trust shown, he stressed that he included duties with full work and determination to proceed the best artillery traditions and to strengthen the training possible of the Centre in the spirit of professionalism and service of the Homeland.
After the authoritative part of the ceremony, a defilada of the Centre's divisions was held, presenting a advanced level of training and discipline of soldiers.
The appeal to delegate duties to the Chief of Centre was not only an crucial military event, but besides an chance to item the function and merits of this unit in the country's defence system. The change in the position of commandant is simply a fresh chapter in the past of the Centre, while continuing its mission in the service of the Republic of Poland.
