A fresh ban on sanatoriums? The thought of a wellness hotel evokes immense emotions of the curates

The Ministry of wellness is preparing an amendment to the Act which will introduce a ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages in medicinal facilities, including sanatoriums, from 1 January 2026. hotel argues that spas should advance a healthy lifestyle. The idea, however, raises immense emotions and opposition among the curates, entrepreneurs and any doctors, especially in the celebrated Ciechocinek. Critics indicate that the ban won't solve anything, but will only transfer the problem of alcohol abuse to the curative rooms.
