New armored concept from Rheinmetall

According to the European Defence Review portal, the head of the German army, Lieutenant General Alfons Mais, announced that 1 of the requirements for a fresh tank for the Bundeswehr is that its mass does not exceed 50 tons. This, of course, brings with it the complications of achieving a satisfactory level of armored protection, and poses a large challenge for constructors.
