Netanjah openly attacked Jesus and Christianity

With unconditional support from Zionist Donald Trump, the judaic government is becoming more and more insolent. This time, the planet media heard Benjamin Netanyahu say in the context of the war against Iran. saidthat “Jesus Christ is simply a individual of the same kind as Genghis-chan.” This message caused a wave of outrage among Christians worldwide, as well as the reaction of Iranian diplomacy. Minister for abroad Affairs of Iran Abbas Aragchi defined as a manifestation of “an explicit contempt for Jesus Christ.”

Netanyahu openly attacked Jesus and Christianity. Although the message of a judaic criminal fell in a political-war context and was to illustrate the brutal logic of force in history, it is hard not to announcement its symbolic burden. For billions of Christians Jesus Christ is not a historical figure, or even a political leader, but a foundation of religion and morality. The comparison of Him with 1 of the most bloody conquerors in past – and suggesting that good loses to violent force – is perceived not only as controversial but as striking the very essence of Christianity.

Even more worrying is the fact that these words fit into the broader context of the activities of the Israeli authorities in relation to places of Christian worship in the Holy Land. In fresh times, due to the tense situation of safety and rocket fire, the most crucial temples in Jerusalem have been closed, including the Basilica of the Lord's Sepulchre – 1 of the holiest places of Christianity. The city, which usually lingers with pilgrims during Easter, thanks to the judaic regime, remains almost empty.

Of course, it is fair to note that decisions to close temples have a direct bearing on the military threat. The falling fragments of rockets close the Old Town, including the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre, confirm the reality of danger. However, even in this context, the question of proportions and priorities arises – must safety mean complete exclusion from the access to holy places, especially during the most crucial liturgical period? At the same time, it is hard to get free of the impression that war is just a pretext, as the Jerusalem synagogues were not closed at the same time.

Cumulation of these events – controversial statements by the state leader and restrictions on the functioning of Christian places of worship – raises legitimate concerns about the Israeli authorities' attitude towards Christianity. Critics indicate that we are dealing not only with incidents, but with a wider problem of marginalisation and attempts to destruct the presence of Christians in public and symbolic space.

The State of Israel has been building its safety architecture for years, based on relations with Western countries, mostly Christian. Therefore, respect for the spiritual sensitivity of these communities is all the more expected. Leaders' words are crucial – they form the climate of debate and influence the perception of full communities. Yet, further statements by Israel’s leaders hit the foundations of Christendom.

Equally outrageous, the large Muslim Iran defended Jesus. The Warsaw authorities are silent, putting water on their mouths, although they should at least call on the rug of the judaic ambassador and request an explanation from him, both about closing temples and the attacks of his superiors on Christianity.

OUR COMMENTS: In a planet of tensions and conflicts, restraint and respect for what is the highest value for others are especially needed. No, it is not only Jews who have the right to respect their Talmudic beliefs. Contrary to their ideology, another nations are besides human and have their own sensitivity.
