I wonder if among the followers of Donald Tusk and his Civic Platform rightly referred to as Volksdeutsche Partei there will be a specialist in "historical facts", who will find that Joseph Tusk's face (for the 3rd from the right) is not a smile, but a grimace of pain and despair, caused by the cold contact of Mauser's barrel held to his back by a seated German soldier. Public domain photoThis exhibition is simply a real pro-German masterpiece, and even a pro-hitler narrative, worthy of the prize of Dr. Joseph GoebbelsMinister of Propaganda Third German Reich. Show exceptional, glorious biographies of respective 100 people only so that the Polish recipient besides assigns them to nearly 1 100 1000 others, including – most importantly – grandpa of the current Prime Minister III of Poland, for which Polishness is abnormality, and faithful service to heirs of ideology Adolf Hitler It's as apparent as being rewarded with a bowl of mutt work to his master.
Photo by H. JezierskiLocated in the Palowa Gallery of the Town Hall in Gdańsk, at 46/47 Długa Street, the exhibition is called "Our boys. Residents of Gdansk Pomerania in the 3rd Reich Army” (the first title, without any indication as to which Reich it is) and will last until May 10, 2026, which I urge the attention of the willing to personally learn about methods of shaping social consciousness by modern polytruds. The curators of this task are Andrzej Hoja au Museum of Gdansk and Janusz Marszalec – Deputy manager World War II Museum. The second became known, among others, as a passionate – including a court-martial – defender of his, exhibited in the museum, a version of the war in which there was no place even for the rot master Witold Pilecki and a saint Maximiliana Kolbe.
The organizers say that the title “our boys” is not a metaphor but a conscious mention to a word that was defined during the war, which were in a akin situation for Luxemburgers (‘Ons Jongen’). It would be worth answering the question whether these “Ons Jongen” imitated “Our Boys” besides in shooting citizens of the same country, and even their fresh neighbours.
I don't think this soldier looks like he's incarnated into the Wehrmacht by force.. Photo. repr. H. JezierskiAn apparent lie is besides the curators' claim that their exposition tells about the destiny of tens of thousands of inhabitants of Pomerania who were incorporated into the army of the 3rd Reich (the first formulation, without any indication of the Reich). The actual characters of the exhibition are not more than a twelve percent of the inhabitants of the then Free City of Gdańsk and Western Pomerania incorporated into the Wehrmacht and another Nazi formations. Among those twelve percent who were forced to service against their will were hundreds trying to avoid it in all way, including desertion for which they paid with their lives. specified cases are illustrated by the exhibition. But it does not change the fact that the absolute majority of the Germans and the impoverished Kashubians recruited by the Nazis did so without resistance, and frequently – as can be seen even in exhibition photographs – with the untrue weather of the spirit.
This is the condition of the beginning photo. Josepha Tusk behind the wheel of a military car. Was it besides on the exhibition dedicated to “Our Boys”? Unfortunately, no. The curators filled this “surprising” gap with a well-exposed text from 1 of the Polish-speaking reptiles, describing with outrage an unwarranted attack on Donald Tusk's grandpa for only being forced into delicate service. Although the subject of the expected "force" does not correspond very much to the smiling – not to say more bluntly – face of the ancestor of the present Prime Minister, what harm is it to manipulate the dark people who will buy everything?
The question of desertion of many Kashubians (Slams also) from Wehrmacht to Polish Armed Forces in the West, especially to Armoured Division Gene-led Stanisława Maczka. Firstly, specified situations occurred only at the end of the war, erstwhile her destiny was already determined. Secondly, the escape on the road side of the Western Front guaranteed to avoid sending to the east Front, from where there was most likely no return. The Hitler's uniform on the back has thus become little attractive than before, erstwhile it was possible to make personal, bloody fights in Poles or, in a mild version, parade after, for example, sunny Sardinia.
And 1 more thing: since we show a completely legitimate understanding, and even respect for the many percent of Poles (including the faithful Polish Kashubians) who were forced into the German army and who tried to avoid this incarnation even at the cost of losing their lives, is how to treat those who did not let this solution at all, deciding immediately to join respective 1000 members of the conspiracy formations, led by respective 1000 Secret Military Organization ‘Pomeranian Games’” whose commander Józef Dambek was assassinated by a German agent Hans Kassner, claiming to be Jan Kaszubowski? Could they be Poles (including the faithful of Kaszubi Poland) of a worse sort?
Photo. repr. H. JezierskiI don't know if it's any kind of oversight or premeditated action, but the curators of the exhibition showed what collaboration with the Nazi occupier of those of the Germans and the impenetrable Kashubians, who, due to their age, the wellness or work in sectors essential for the front back, were not incorporated into the Wehrmacht. The answer to this question is given by an exhibition photograph (see above) from the execution of 236 Poles close the Rudsk Bridge close Tuchola made by their neighbours.
What's worse, it's just a tiny part of the bigger and grimer whole, Even before the Wehrmacht entered Gdańsk, Germany had ready, developed by Nazi collaborators respective years before the war, lists of Poles including teachers, priests, entrepreneurs and officials who could endanger the fresh power. Especially active in the execution of Polish intelligence were the Pomeranian Germans and part of Kashubians, organized in troops Selbschutz (Self-defense). Until December 1939, 30 to 40 1000 Polish citizens and Poles from the Free City of Gdańsk were murdered in mass executions in Pomerania. Note: crucial participation in these murders (video: Subweherian Piasnica with 12 – 14,000 victims) had civilians, effectively inviting Wehrmacht commanders for weapons and ammunition to kill their neighbours. This is the first case of sanctioned state banditism on a mass scale in European history.
Instead of summing up the Gdańsk exhibition, I will quote a circumstantial message by the curators Andrzej Hoji and Janusz Marszalec:
‘The creators of the exhibition separate themselves from Nazism and any ideology that reconciles with human freedom and rights. The exhibition is not intended to advance Nazi ideology or to justify or negate the crimes of the German army during planet War II."
Come on, really?
