President Karol Nawrocki signed a fresh version of the Law on Assistance to Ukrainians, passed by the joint forces of COPIS. The chief of his law firm Zbigniew Bogucki stated that the president had done it “the last time”. Thus, Poles who believed that they yet had a Polish president and hoped to end the undue privileges for pseudo-war refugees were disappointed.
Nawrocki decided: First Ukraine, first Ukrainians. The Act extends the legality of their stay in Poland until 4 March 2026. This aspect concerns even a million Ukrainians. The expiry of the existing rules on assistance to Ukrainians with respect to the legality of their stay threatened chaos, both for themselves and for employers. In addition, the signed Act removes the right to receive the benefit of 800 plus foreigners who do not work in Poland.
This is simply a affirmative component of the programme, but let us not forget that the 800+ programme was expected to be for Poles and was introduced in 2016 to rise our fertility, not the fertility of immigrants.
At the same time, the Act maintains other, unfavourable conditions, thanks to which Ukrainians have more rights in Poland than Poles. First of all, non-working and non-deductive “war refugees” can inactive number on free treatment at the expense of Poles. Their medical tourism will so proceed at its best. There was besides no criminalisation of the Ukrainian flagism, nor the abolition of the rules by which Ukrainians could work 1 day in Poland to get the right to our minimum pension.
There was besides no extension of the period after which foreigners, including Ukrainian citizens, will be able to apply for Polish citizenship. Nawrocki announced that this period should be extended from 3 to 10 years. Moreover, Ukrainians can inactive drive around Poland without method inspections of their vehicles. Second-class citizens, i.e. Poles, must do them all year, and late their costs have been importantly increased.
Nawrocki's scandalous anti-Polish decision tried to save Zbigniew Bogucki, the head of his law firm. – This is the last specified law, which is signed by president Nawrocki, concerning specified a form of assistance to Ukrainian citizens. No another bill will be signed by president Nawrocki said during the speech for the media.
The head of the NRP lied that the solutions contained in the bill "this is actually the end of tourism from Ukraine at the expense of the Polish taxpayer".– circumstantial benefits have been mentioned, which will not be available to Ukrainian citizens who do not work in Poland, specified as rehabilitation, medical programs, wellness programs, issues of buying prescription drugs, cataracts, dental services and many, many others – he calculated, aside from the fact that they would inactive be able to treat our diseases, which are not refunded by their wellness care, in addition completely free of charge.
Although the President's law firm has announced its own draft laws in the field of flag prosecution, it does not mean anything, as it is clear that the ruling coalition will reject them. Unfortunately, many Poles will proceed to delude themselves that this president "wants well".
