The sale of clothing and gadgets is done by a private company "Nowrocky", founded in November 2025, which in its promotional activities widely uses the image of the President. Although the Presidential Palace emphasizes that president Karol Nawrocki does not keep any relation with the brand, the Gdańsk company utilized photos taken by presidential photographers on a regular basis to advance its activities.
In addition, the brand logo was registered as a trademark by Karol Nawrocki's sister, Nina Nawrocka. According to Onet, the event took place on 5 November and 12 days later the company “Nowrocky” was established.
Currently, Karol Nawrocki is happy to show himself in the clothes of the brand “Nowrocky” – he poses in them for photos from trainings. It besides appears during authoritative events, for example in the planet Cup stands in ski jumping in Zakopane. A fewer days ago, in a hat and T-shirt with a distinctive logo, he besides visited the Olympic village. This situation caused controversy and questions about whether specified actions would harm Polish athletes.
Position of the President
In a message to Onetu, the President's spokesperson stressed that Karol Nawrocki and the President's Chancellery had no marketing or financial links with the brand "Nowrocky". He explained that the President's appearance in the clothes with a logo during public events was not part of cooperation or promotional activities. He besides added that the president and the Chancellery do not interfere in the activities of a private company, and the right to conduct business, including by his sister, is guaranteed by the Constitution.
Answer Nowrocky sp. z o.o.
On Monday, Virtual Poland addressed Nowrocky sp. z o.o. with questions about the case. Journalists wanted to know, among others, on what legal basis the company uses photos taken by the photographer of the President's Chancellery, and whether it has the authoritative consent of Karol Nawrocki or the President's Chancellery to usage his image and surname for business purposes.
In response, the company noted that the establishment of the company and the online store is simply a private initiative of individuals and there is no authoritative authorisation from either the president of Poland or the Chancellery of the President. The president of the company ensures that the graphic signs utilized by the company are utilized in accordance with the applicable regulations and the rights held.
