President Karol Nawrocki arrived at the 31st Tactical Aviation Base in Poznań–Krzesiny. During his speech, he will stress that "this was the place where the focus of what happened yesterday was actually."
– due to the fact that it was here that the main forces of strengthening the Polish air defence system, which reacted – it can be said in a unambiguous way present – to another Russian provocation and attack on our territory, in the territory of the Republic by means of drones – he admitted.

And he added that "this provocation was nothing more than an effort to test our ability to respond – including politicians – to the president of Poland, the Prime Minister of Poland for what is happening in the present." The president further stressed that years ago "we did not scare the russian soldier, we will not be frightened of drones."
Finally, he thanked Polish soldiers for taking down Russian drones over Polish sky. He pointed out that "he is arrogant of them" and besides thanked our allies: the Dutch, the Norwegians, the Americans, the Romanians and the French. "We have all passed a test of solidarity and readiness to respond to the attacks and provocations of the Russian Federation," he concluded.
Tusk undertook to deliver the essential equipment more quickly
Donald Tusk, on the another hand, visited the 32nd Tactical Aviation Base in Grace. In his speech he pointed out that "what happened last night was a real fight, not exercises or maneuvers." "Since yesterday no 1 can uncertainty that without you Poland would be vulnerable," he said.
He pointed out that "pilots are heroes for all citizens" and revealed that European leaders in talks besides directed words of appreciation and congratulations to Polish air force.

In conclusion, he pointed out that "the modernization of the Polish army and aviation is the government's priority". He assured that he would do everything to get the essential equipment to Poland as shortly as possible: not in a fewer years, but in the coming months. He mentioned that he would push for faster deliveries of F-35 aircraft and another weapons so that pilots could have as modern and reliable machines as possible. He declared that he would treat this nonsubjective personally and will guarantee its achievement.
Both politicians refrained this time from pointing out mistakes and shortcomings. Political emotion has gone into the background. This is what the most crucial Polish politicians and commanders had previously called for.
Let us remind that on the night of Tuesday for Wednesday during Russia's attack on Ukraine, the Polish airspace was affected 19 times by drones. Polish and allied radio-location systems participated in the defence operation, following respective objects and Polish and allied aircraft. The drones that posed a direct threat were shot down. The operation outside the ground-based systems included, among others, AWACS early informing aircraft, 2 F–35 and 2 F–16 fighters, Mi–24 combat helicopters, as well as M–17 multitasking aircraft and Black Hawk.
