In the first fresh Year's message delivered by Karol Nawrocki, who has held the office of president of the Republic of Poland since 6 August 2025, many words have been said about the next direction to take our country.
– In the past year Poles said clearly: we do not like what is. They have clearly shown that the state’s affairs are not going in the right direction, that change is needed,... You have indicated where we should be heading. This fresh good direction in 2026 must so mean: development, safety and better life for citizens," said the head of state.

In the further part of the message, Nawrocka praised that he was the first Polish president to be invited by president Donald Trump to the G20 summit during his visit to the White House. – We, all of us, are behind this success. Now it is our occupation to make it permanent. Poland in G20 must be the direction for the next years and decades," he stressed.
The president of Poland stated that the country that wants to be among the strongest countries should be constantly ambitious. "If we want to be permanently among the best ones, we must translate this improvement into the everyday life of all Polish and all Polish person," he said.
“If we want to be permanently present among the strongest, we must guarantee that the everyday life of Poles is normal, better and safe. (...) 3 goals: development, security, better life of Poles – he added, making inactive fresh year wishes to the full nation.
Let us remind that the United Surveys by IBRiS Institute, commissioned by the Virtual portal Poland, created a survey in which it checked who Poles consider "Man of the Year 2025". Nawrocki won 26.6% of respondents' votes. The head of state left behind the Polish tennis player Iga Świątek, as well as the astronaut Sławomiz Uznański-Wiśniewski, the first Pole to board the global Space Station.
