For months, tension has been increasing around 1 of the key areas of the state. Public statements, leaks to the media and harsh wording build up an atmosphere of conflict, which, although concerning procedures, is increasingly personal. Now there is simply a signal that there can be a direct discussion at the highest level. The dispute between president Karol Nawrocki and abroad Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski has long ceased to be just a method misunderstanding. Although it concerns formal decisions and constitutional competences, it is increasingly filled with political emotion, common grievances and public comments that only heat the atmosphere.
