President Andrzej Nawrocki denied the rule that the president was on 1 plane with the head of the MFA for a UN session. In an interview with Polish Radio RAMPA in fresh York, he referred to the position of spokesperson of MFA Paweł Wroński.
MFA spokesperson claimed on platform X that there was "an elegant tradition of inviting the president of the Republic of Poland's chief of diplomacy on board a plane flying to a session of the UN General Assembly". Nawrocki was asked for a separate arrival of him and head of MFA Radosław Sikorski to the United States.
Denying the principle
"I don't make those decisions either, who's on a plane with me. In the life of the president (...), there is no time to decide who is flying with me, but as my colleagues with 10 years of experience at the President's Chancellery assured me, it is not a regulation that the abroad Minister is flying with the President" - Nawrocki stated.
The president assessed the co-flight substance as a substance of "a deep margin of serious political action". According to him, she can "really only occupy those who either have a complex within themselves, or do not have much to do."
Criticism of Sikorski's behaviour
"The behaviour of Minister Sikorski at times, in relation to reading letters that were to come to me, or to the issue of the plane, is beyond the scope of matters that interest me as president of Poland" - said Nawrocki. He stressed that Poland's position at the UN session is already known.
The president besides commented on the cast of the position of head of the Polish embassy in Washington. He stressed that the Polish institution should be an ambassador, not a diplomat of lower rank.
Embassy in the United States
"It would should be an ambassador who represents Poland, which is the result, as the constitution says, of a compromise between the president and the government, and should be the individual who represents Poland's interests well" - Nawrocki stated. He estimated that the charge d'affaires Bogdan Klich did not execute his tasks due to the fact that "there is no specified possibility" and "he is actually avoided in the most crucial discussions".
The president expressed his hope for an agreement with the head of the MFA on the cast of diplomatic posts. "There will come a minute erstwhile I will invitation Minister Sikorski and for the sake of Poland I will want to explain the matter" - he said.
