Karol Nawrocki late met US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and US president Donald Trump at the White House. "I was impressed after these meetings and after these discussions that congressmen and secretaries know precisely what is going on in Poland in the field of justice and the violation of the regulation of law in the Polish state," Nawrocki said.
– Not me, but I admit to the Polish public that among the questions that were asked to me was the question of a subsidy for a candidate for the office of President, de facto for a political party, the largest political organization in the Polish parliament, which supports me as a civilian candidate," he said.
“I was asked if I truly was the only candidate in this race who was deprived of illegal subsidies,” he told journalists.
– This is the kind of experience that shows that this information about the state of the Polish regulation of law, the justice strategy and the presidential race itself reaches the White home – Nawrocki argued.
Rubio: Our future together has never looked clearer
Meanwhile, the message on 3 May signed by Rubio shows that in the US they see Poland as a seamless ally.
"On behalf of the United States of America, I want all Poles a joyful Christmas of the Constitution," the US Secretary of State said on Saturday.
"When the Grand Sejm adopted the first modern Constitution of Europe on 3 May 1791, it codified democratic principles which are besides costly to our young American Republic. These principles, boldly calculated in the face of external threats, united and inspired both our nations for centuries," we read.
"Today Poland and the United States stand together as partners in building a safer and more prosperous future for our peoples. Poland has strengthened our common safety through its commitment to NATO and continues to accept thousands of American soldiers. Our trade relations proceed to flourish and we look forward to further strengthening our cooperation on energy security," he added.
"Our future together has never looked clearer. I look forward to the next year of common guarding the values we share – freedom, prosperity, safety and democracy" - Rubio concluded.
