U.S. president Donald Trump met with Polish presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki on Thursday, said the White House. The politician reported that Trump predicted him to win the election.


The gathering was informed by the White home account on platform X. "President Donald J. Trump welcomes Polish presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki in the Oval Office" - it was written.

Nawrocki himself commented on the same portal that he had a "great meeting" with Trump.

"It was an honor to discuss the bright future of Polish-American relations" - he wrote.

It is unclear how long the gathering lasted.

"You will win"

In an interview with television, Nawrocki Republic said that during the conversation with Trump they raised the issue of elections in Poland. The politician stated that Trump told him "you will win" ("you'll win").

"I read it as a kind of want for my success" - Nawrocki reported. He besides said that the conversation afraid president Andrzej Duda and his relationship with Trump.

"It appears that this relationship, from this conversation, has sounded that this relation is crucial to president Trump," he said.

Just before the gathering in the White home during the conference for Polish media Nawrocki said that he had not met with the president of the United States and did not propose that specified a gathering was planned. He besides said that he did not anticipate any intervention from Trump's administration on elections in Poland, which he estimated are not fair.

"I am not going to appeal to external interventions on Polish elections (...) I am not here to intervene" - he declared.

On Friday, a candidate supported by the Law and Justice will be in Chicago, where on Saturday he will participate in the yearly parade for Constitution Day 3. Maya.
