As "Newsweek" writes, PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński at a gathering with Karol Nawrocki at Nowogrodzka proposed that Marek Kuchciński should stay the minister in the fresh Chancellery of the President. Nawrocki refused.
Nawrocks are already standing up to PiS
In fact, it is hard to be amazed that Nawrockie did not want to have politician Nowogrodzka in his crew. Kuchciński is an old associate of Kaczyński, loyal and proven, without much ambition. In the past, he was a talker of the Sejm, was recalled in an atmosphere of scandal erstwhile it came to light that he was very eager to fly home on a government plane. In addition, he took his household and friends aboard. As a marshal, he besides had a series of at least controversial decisions.
"Newsweek" reports that Nawrocki refused to take Kuchciński to a fresh law firm. Kuchciński himself did not want to talk to journalists about it. He is now a private MP.
It is clear that preparations are underway for the "furbishment" of the fresh office of the President. Who's in it? The PiS hoped that there would be area for at least any of the well-tested activists. After all, it was PiS that paid for Nawrocki's campaign, he organized it and powerfully promoted his candidate.
However, Karol Nawrocki is not peculiarly cooperative.
He won't be Kaczyński's puppet. I'd be careful here. He is very ambitious and I do not see him in this role," says Jędrzej Włodarczyk, president of the Gdańsk Left, who worked closely with Karol Nawrocki years ago. They worked together in his hometown.
– I see him alternatively as the guy who wants to replace Kaczyński," he adds.
As Nawrocki writes "Newsweek" he was hard to cooperate with already during the campaign. He ignored the advice, he didn't explain himself, he pushed his own solutions. It may have ended badly for him due to the fact that he won with a tiny difference of vote.
