Mr. George dealt with the case present (5 May) Onet. Journalists of the portal first found "hidden" Karol Nawrocki's apartment. The candidate publically stated that like many Poles, the flat has one. However, it turned out to be the holder of two.
This "second" is simply a studio in Gdańsk, for which Nawrocki did not take credit. It shortly turned out he didn't buy it, but took over in exchange for custody. The owner was Mr. Jerzy, an older, sick man, who Nawrocki was expected to care for. In exchange for the care and housing mentioned, Mr. Jerzy gave it to Nawrock.
Now the substance is getting more and more confusing. Originally a spokesperson for Nawrocki's staff, Emilia Wierzbicki, claimed that the PiS candidate was expected to simply take care of Mr Jerzy and bear the cost of surviving the apartment.
On Sunday, in consequence to Onetu's questions, however, she wrote publically that "Karol Nawrocki gave Mr.Jerzem the money to buy out the flat which Mr.Jerzy promised to give Nawrocki for his assistance." She added that the gentlemen were neighbors, that Mr. Jerzy had entered a conflict with the law, but the aid from Nawrocki always got. She besides wrote that Karol Nawrocki went to visit Mr. George on the last Christmas, but this 1 did not open up to him and do not know where he is. The contact's gone.
And this contact was expected to supply care for Mr. George. According to Onetu journalists, there is no question of care due to the fact that an 80-year-old man is in a state welfare home. It took them hours to make that statement. They're amazed Charles Nawrocki hasn't been able to find that for six months.
They are besides amazed that Nawrocki and Mr Jerzy are presented as neighbors, since both locations share "20 minutes walk". They wonder why Emilia Wierzbicki writes that Nawrocki is not the owner of the apartment, since he is surely not Mr Jerzy.
"Since the flat became formally owned by Karol Nawrocki, he has continued to aid Mr.Jerzem, regularly paying bills, shopping, buying medicines, etc." But he doesn't explain how regular he would be if he hadn't seen him in six months. Nawrocki's people besides supply another translations of the settlements between the gentlemen each time.
Who is Mr. George?
There is 1 more interesting question. Onetu writer Andrzej Stankiewicz recalled, however, that "in the right-wing communicative there is simply a communicative that Karol Nawrocki looked after the hero, the activist of "Solidarity" and in return he signed a contract with him – they someway settled there, it is not clear how – but they settled that in exchange for this care Karol Nawrocki would take over his property".
– So first of all, he's not a hero. And prof. – I talk to Sławomir Cenckiewicz – you know this better than we do, that he is no hero. The second thing is that according to the statement, the flat is at the disposal of a individual whom Mr. Charles has been for many years Nawrocki took care of, i.e. this old man, this old man – Mr. Jerzy – said a writer in the "Stan Special" program.
– The only problem is that Mr. George is gone. We sent onetu reporter Peter Oleliarczyk there. There's no man. No neighbour has seen him in months. So what's the deal with this flat that's owned by Nawrocki? And with this care, if Mr. Jerzy is not here – said the neighbors, for many months – the writer Onetu wondered.
