Energy bills are inactive rising, especially in the autumn-winter season. Many fear this period due to their expenses, so they look for different ways to save money. The biggest problem is pensioners who receive benefits at the lowest possible level. Fortunately, heating charges will shortly not be a problem for them, as any seniors will receive a peculiar energy voucher, but under certain conditions.

Donald Tusk's government plans to introduce an energy voucher, which is one-off financial support for households with lower incomes. Its aim is to aid the poorest pensioners who, due to low pensions, frequently neglect to cope with rising heating charges. In this way, the government besides wants to mitigate the effects of the energy transition and the introduction of the ETS, which is the EU's "heating tax". Although Poland is trying to postpone the entry into force of these regulations, politicians have focused on the contingency plan.

What conditions must be met to receive an energy voucher? Money Not For All
The energy voucher takes the form of quarterly transfers to the beneficiary's account. 1 payment is PLN 300, which gives up to PLN 1,200 per year. However, it is worth noting that not everyone will receive a witness. What conditions must be fulfilled?
The energy bonus is only aimed at people who scope retirement age, i.e. women after 60 and men after 65.
Only pensioners surviving in buildings with an individual heat origin based on fossil fuels specified as coal and fuel oil will get the money.
The income criterion applies - the monthly gross income per individual may not exceed PLN 2525.
The benefit has already appeared in erstwhile years, but there will be no fresh recruitment in 2025. According to the Local Government Portal, the first tranche is scheduled for 2027 and the money will be paid regularly for a period of 5 years.
