President Karol Nawrocki signed under the Teacher's Charter Act. According to the President's Office, this was a decision made without any doubt. The amendment introduces a number of beneficial changes for educators, specified as salaries, severance and work organisation. "The teaching environment was waiting for this solution" - stressed the Communication. On August 21, Karol Nawrocki on platform X reported that he has been working intensively on laws since morning. On that day, Zbigniew Bogucki, Head of the Cabinet of the president of Poland, accompanied him at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw. A photograph of both politicians appeared online.

A full of 36-37 draft laws were placed on the president's desk. Most of them will receive the signature of the head of state, but 1 met with a veto. The amendments to the Teacher's Charter were besides included in the documents. It was this task that met the President's affirmative decision. Changes for which the Government has prepared amendments to the Teacher's Charter and any another laws to facilitate, among others, the hiring of specialised educators in non-public institutions. The rules introduced are intended to improve the professional situation of teachers, especially in the area of wages, working time and the protection of employment relations. According to the President's Office, Karol Nawrocki signed the amendment without any doubt. This was the solution that was long awaited by the teaching community. What changes can teachers expect? The amendment introduces a number of crucial facilities for educators:increase of the Jubilee Award after 40 years of work,increase of clearances for outgoing teachers,reduction of replacements during compulsory classes. The anticipation of acting as a school chief for another word was besides introduced, which was not yet possible.


This is not the end of the coming changesThe newing of the Teacher's Charter is not the only task that the head of state is presently dealing with.
