For 60 years I have been trying to answer the question: ‘How to be a good teacher?’
Of course, first of all, 1 must realize the subject that is taught. To understand, not to know. For example, a good physics teacher should realize well erstwhile electrons are tangled, and he does not request to know their exact mass, due to the fact that it can easy be found on the Internet. Similarly, the past teacher should realize the influence of quantum physics on the course of history, and already not necessarily know the exact dates of the reign of King Sobieski, due to the fact that it is besides easy to “goggle”.
Understanding the taught subject is simply a essential condition, but not sufficient. I know, for example, quite a few large physicists who know the large subject of their research, but they tell so vaguely that nothing can be understood.
Sometimes I fishy that different superb people can't realize that there are people little superb that request to be explained more flaologically.
My 60 years with education led me to the following conclusion:
TEACHING THE RESULTS OF THE BETTER, THE MORE THE teacher NEEDS TO LEARN THE STUFF.
When students/doctors/listeners laugh, they get cognition much faster.
However, no 1 in the media is discussing this issue. No 1 asks the Teachers to master the art of making fun. Yeah, art, due to the fact that it's not easy to make fun. It takes much longer to prepare for this than to present the meaning itself.
