The incidental occurred today, October 30. The MiGów-29 on-call pair from the 22nd Tactical Air Base in Malbork was picked up to intercept before 9:00 a.m. Polish fighters did it on the Baltic. The Russian aircraft moved without a reported flight plan and with the transponder off. Poles made his recognition (it was the same device that MiGi-29 captured recently, RF-95671 registration number), and then accompanied Ił until he left the Polish region of responsibility.
