NATO powerfully accentuates action in northern Europe

Russian full-scale aggression against Ukraine forced crucial changes in NATO's deterrence and defence space. Furthermore, the extension of NATO to Finland and Sweden increases the interoperability needs in the contractual space of the northern flank. In this context, the largest military exercises under the code name Steadfast Defender-24 should be deployed since the end of the Cold War.
