"The scale of the problem is that about 60% of active substances are produced in the planet by 5 manufacturers. 30% of substances only produce 1-2 manufacturers. Our level of drug dependence is highly advanced – says prof. Monika Raulinajtys-Grzybek, who warns that even basic medicines can be scarce in a crisis.
