Short word rental 2026 – registration, limits and fresh obligations of landlords

The owners of their main residences will be able to rent them for up to 3 months a year without additional formalities. For investment premises, limitations on the number of days will be allowed to introduce a resolution to municipalities. The draft national bill is inactive pending in the Sejm – in parallel in May 2026 the EU regulation on registration and data will enter into force.
