Heroicism is usually associated with herculean toil, or with any different act, about which the political community gathers, aspires to and dreams of it. Heroes is simply a function model. Ancient warriors warmed up to fight the songs of Tyrtajosa celebrating the perfect of Greek valor. A poet with a certain emphasis praised the benefits for the community as a whole, “when a man is in the first line of fighters” and completely forgets “the shameful escape”.
But let us not let ourselves be inflated with large words. In our time, heroes don't gotta die in military chic or barricades. More and more frequently they don't even gotta wear capes, quietly aid hurt and humiliated or simply, throw any charity money into the cans of hearts.
The women's magazine Gazeta Wyborcza is not satisfied with the sad halfness of the erstwhile hero title and presented the award “Superhero”. In this context: “Superheroes”. For this year's prize winner was Gizela Jagielska, Gynecologist and ‘aborter’. Before we proceed to the curiosity laudation in Wyborcza, which justified the selection of Jagielska, it is worth recreating the award gala.
The event was accompanied by an endless deposit of joy and enthusiasm. Smiles never came down, hugged, kissed in endless lines of congratulations and happiness.
On the occasion of the award of a major subject on both social and axiological grounds, We would anticipate glass eyes stuck in the ground, serious about the drama of abortion (it is always a tragedy, regardless of views and circumstances) or mars mines and speeches. no of that – it was an amusement organization around the majesty of death.
The winner herself seemed happy and fulfilled. The prize was even presented for the abortion “Dream Team” – 10 1000 zlotys. For her “making” she was given a large check as during a charity fan lottery.
