In fresh months Belarusians They complain. for the deficiency and quality of potatoes as well as any another vegetables. At the same time, propagandists Grigorij Azarenok and Kirił Kazakov claimed that this product was not missing in the country. late in large cities There have besides been problems with hot water supplies.
Belarus lacks potatoes and hot water. As early as February, the potato problem was worrying by the regime's authorities. Complaints about supply problems to the wholesaler under contracts already concluded have repeatedly influenced the dictator. The producers explained that sending vegetables and fruit at a rigid price imposed by the State would not be profitable. Therefore, they either sale the goods at a higher price or send them to export. Indeed, the buying-in price for potatoes on the home marketplace is 0,76 rubles per kilogram, while abroad, 1,3-1.4 rubles.
In April, the authorities introduced changes in price regulation; the maximum selling price for potatoes increased from 76 kopecks to 1 ruble, but this did not solve the problem.
Good quality potatoes in stores and hypermarkets became a real treat this year. The situation is somewhat better for private traders who sale potatoes at a vegetable fair. There is simply a choice – both in terms of size and diversity. Unfortunately, prices are already "disappointing" for buyers. If in the state they are 2–2,5 rubles per kilo, then in the capital they are in any places twice as tall: 4–5 rubles.
Prime Minister Aleksandr Turczyn besides instructed the government to submit a bill to address this problem. He proposed, among others, preferential loans to suppliers for the acquisition of planting material and the anticipation of granting aid for products to agricultural organisations and individual farmers. He besides ordered the improvement of a long-term programme (for a period of at least 20 years) of financing or lending for the construction, renovation and modernisation of vegetable and fruit retention facilities. The coordination of actions was addressed by Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Shulejko.
It's not an end. all summertime the Belarusians face the same problem: in the entrances to the buildings there are announcements about the imminent cutting of hot water, after which residents faithfully place full pots on the stove for almost 2 weeks, usage bowls and look around, to which of their relatives or good friends they can go to lie in the bathtub. People who lived in the USSR remember months without warm water. For Lukashenko, these periods were shortened to about 2 weeks a year.
In Minsk City from 2021, this period is 13 days a year. another cities in the country have their own specificity. For example, in 2024 in Polock the waiting period was 13 days, in Mozyrz – 9 to 11 days, in Kobrin – from 1 to 5 days.
As we can see, Belarus faces problems unknown in Poland and most European countries. Let us remember this erstwhile we start listening to pro-Russian and pro-Belarusian propaganda in Poland, specified as the disguise of Wojciech Olszański.
