PK spokesperson Przemysław Nowak confirmed on Thursday that in April last year a "entry group" was established on 1 of the communicators, including associate Dariusz Matecki. The group was intended to inform the law enforcement authorities about the Justice Fund.
During Thursday's briefing, the PK Ombudsman reported that evidence shows that This group was formed a fewer days after the first detention was made in the Justice Fund investigation - including Fr Michał Olszewski, president of the Profeto Foundation.
Nowak confirmed that PiS associate Dariusz Matecki, presently suspected of the Justice Fund, who was arrested for 2 months by decision of the court, was besides active in this group. The D.A.'s office has requested arrest, which has accused a associate of six crimes.
Entry group
"Gazeta Wyborcza" revealed that MP Matecki had been conducting encrypted correspondence on 1 of the communicators on the "entry group" with "friends from Fidei Defensor associations, religion Defenders Leaders and wellness Friends Association" since 1 April 2024. According to the newspaper, the group's name came from the fact that MP PiS, together with Matthew W. and Adam S., were certain that there would be detentions in the coming days. Its aim was to inform each another of possible law enforcement activities.
"GW" published on Wednesday any of the entries made by participants in this group that were secured in the case. Prok. Nowak assured on Thursday that the prosecution had not released any papers from the "GW" case.
