A sixth generation fighter. France prepared for its own initiative

The FCAS project, launched in 2017 by France, Germany and Spain, aimed at creating a modern combat strategy that would replace current fighters: French Rafale, German Eurofighter Typhoon and Spanish F/A-18 Hornet. The main component of the task is the 6th generation fighter (New Generation Fighter, NGF) which would cooperate with unmanned crafts under the alleged "combat cloud".
