All right, I'll effort to pass on the results of my thoughts.
In 1945, the German state lost the war that started and killed millions of people, hundreds of millions were injured, and cultural aspects of many countries and nations were destroyed. From rather popular texts I know (I am not a historian like many bonz) that the free world, especially Americans, had a problem what to do with the millions of immoral Germans who accepted national socialist thesis as actual and worked for the Reich, even if they did not have positions or professions allowing crimes. As far as I know, it would be impossible to make a "new post-war Germany" without these millions, and too what to do with them? They were just besides much. The fact is, then, that even the evident Nazi and criminal past of any were turned away. An example is Warsaw's executioner, Heinrich Friedrich Reinefarth, who made a political career in Germany and died in 1979, never having suffered punishment for his crimes due to deficiency of witnesses. I am not surprised, who seldom experienced mass executions of the civilian population, and "their" preferred to stay silent. Only after his natural death, a fewer decades later, the German authorities "sorry", built up any kind of plaque...
Well, that's enough. In short, Germans losing the war won as a lottery their enviable by many another fates.
Until the present time, the German state after the unification thanks to the "revolution of 1980" which began in Poland prospered well or even very well. Since the mediate of the last century, it has been attractive to successive gastarbeiters (Turkey, Yugoslavia, east European countries). Germany developed economically, economical crises were unspeakable to them. Germany has always (including planet War II) had problems with energy resources. But Russia came with its gas deposits. And with its ambitions of power. And then the Russian-Ukrainian war started. And it turned out that "extended", sanctions are essential for the most crucial economical partner according to the thesis that inexpensive labour will come from the mediate East and from Russia energy resources and will be what was to be.
But the Germans don't like to sit around. The war that has been going on for almost 2 years is the origin of the Ukrainians' death, suffering and material losses. So what can you do?
Here comes Parteigenosse Donald Tusk, known for his tendency to reconcile with Russia. That's what happened after the Smolensk disaster, so it could be now. And who knows, possibly that's the intent of his appointment? At the beginning he had to deal with privatization of the Polish press (and is liable for German ownership of a crucial part of media titles) and money from the Germans for organization activity. Whatever he thinks, he can't be certain that he's actually not an entity, but just a subject bigger and even more ruthless than himself.
I think, according to the emotions associated with Donk's statements, that individual has told him that time has little, and possibly something wonderful to get.
What I'm going to say next is just a product of my imagination, but I think it's based on the realities I see.
After the first pacification of the resistant in Poland, Donald Tusk will deal with the peace in Europe. It will enter into contact with Putin and then lead to the suspension of war activities in Ukraine. So what if Ukraine has territorial and so economical losses, human sacrifices, war destructions that will affect Ukrainian reality for respective decades? It will most likely be a kind of agreement with Yalta, where Russia will receive guarantees that Ukraine will stay in the Russian sphere of influence, outside the European Union and outside NATO. The West will agree, due to the fact that it will mean a sacred peace of head to him, or at least 1 little problem.
In this way, it may happen that "among the dear friends the dogs of the rabbit ate". That's like Polish after Yalta.
The sanctions will be lifted from Russia, due to the fact that the war will yet end. Everyone's gonna be happy and take a breath. The German State will be given the chance to draw natural gas and energy from Russia. Immigrants will be given the chance to work well paid. Donald Tusk will be nominated by the "European Union" for the Nobel Peace Prize for ending the most crucial current conflict in Europe. He'll most likely get it. Poland will already be "one of many members" who accept the general policy of the Union.
I can see it anyway.
I hope I'm wrong.
