MSPO 2026: Remontowa Shipbuilding in Gdańsk—Poland’s leader in shipbuilding

In fresh years, Remontowa Shipbuilding has built and delivered 3 minehunters to our Navy: OORP Kormoran, Albatros, and Mewa (Project 258 Kormoran II), as well as six large tugs: Gniewko, Mieszko, Leszko, Bolko, Semko, and Przemko of the B860 class. Previously, the shipyard built, among another vessels, the training sailing ship El-Mellah of the B103 class for the Algerian Navy, 2 multipurpose vessels for the Maritime Authorities: Zodiak II and Planeta I (Project B618), as well as the logistics support ship ORP Kontradmirał X. The Czernicki, task 890 (130Z), which presently serves as the command and support ship for mine countermeasures forces. It is well-known in many European ports, as it is frequently part of NATO’s standing mine countermeasures task force. Currently, this NATO task force includes another vessel built by Remontowa Shipbuilding: the task 258 minehunter ORP Mewa.
