Members Bronisław Foltyn and Roman Fritz exchanged the unwarranted flags of Ukraine for the flags of Poland at Cieszyn Town Hall. Foltyn stated that the city's authorities would alternatively pay tribute to Ukrainians than to Poles on the day of remembrance of the genocide in Volyn. Even before noon, Magistrate re-placed Ukrainian colours on the town hall.

The second intervention was later made by associate of the Confederation of the Polish Crown Roman Fritz. He removed Ukrainian symbols, hanging Polish symbols in their place.He said the flags would not be desecrated, but "will be returned to the Ukrainian embassy in Warsaw".
