MP Marcin Józefaciuk announced on Wednesday that he was resigning from membership of the Civic Coalition parliamentary club. The decision explains the deficiency of the anticipation of conducting a substantive discussion on education and the way in which it was dismissed from the Sejm's Committee on Education and Science. "This is simply a form of release – both for me and for my erstwhile colleagues" - he added.

KO MP Marcin Józefaciuk resigned from the club

"Today I learned from the papers delivered before the votes that I would be dismissed as a associate of the Committee on Education and Science. No conversation, no prior information, no explanation" - he wrote KO associate Marcin Józefaciuk Wednesday night on platform X.

As he added, he understands that in the face of the forthcoming reforms in the committee "there is simply a request for votes of those who agree with the adopted direction of change", but "does not accept the Member's being put before the fact made".

The MP suggested that his appeal could have been a consequence - as he wrote - of deficiency of subordination, criticism of the activities of the Ministry of Education, parliamentary control on home education or "a fight for reconstruction and improvement of vocational education". However, he assured that his actions were aimed at "a concern about school, about teachers and about students", and all criticism preceded attempts to talk inside the club.

Józefaciuk resigns his membership of the KO club. "It's a form of release"

"In connection with specified treatment of the associate of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, I have made a message to the Marshal of the Sejm and the president of the Club about resigning from membership of the Civic Coalition Parliamentary Club" - said Józefaciuk.

He besides stressed that this is not an attack on KO. "This is simply a form of release – both for me and for my erstwhile colleagues" - added.

He besides announced that he would stay an MP and "he would proceed to fight for the future of the Polish school, for the rights of men, for health, for families and for all those who feel inaudible." He pointed out that the key issues for him stay education, men's affairs, the fight against parental alienation and number issues.
