Moldovan journalists have agreed that the intermediary in the Russian gas supply chain has changed to the self-appointed Transnistria and that the amount of natural material transferred has decreased. This was reported on 11 April by an independent average Bridge, specializing in Transnistria, citing its own sources.
From 2 independent sources, the editorial board found out that JNX General Trading registered in Dubai no longer pays for gas supplies to Transnistria – another company registered in the United arabian Emirates took over this function. According to sources, the change may be due to JNX General Trading problems with timely settlement of gas charges.
From information obtained by Bridge It besides shows that the Transnistria presently receives about 2.2 million m3 of gas per day, while earlier it was 3 million m3. The same information was previously provided by sources from the Moldovan Ministry of Energy.
Most state institutions have not answered journalists' questions about gas for Transnistria. The exception was the Reintegration Office, which only confirmed that the gas supply actually decreased.
