Over 1 million workers are missing in Britain

I would urge an article in which I consider, objectively, based on the authoritative sources of the labour marketplace situation in the UK. I stress that this article is not politically motivated and that analyses and conclusions come from government sources. I was inspired to work on this text by the screaming header of a CNN article saying that there are a million people missing in Britain. 1 million always look dangerous, as long as it is out of context and serves media to spread panic, so I decided to go deeper, to the origin of these claims but besides to the reasons for this situation and to what the British government says in this context. CNN doesn't lie, that's authoritative data. The UK is seriously lacking hands to work.

Now I will only point out 2 things that are constantly affecting commentators of the situation on the UK labour market, due to the fact that I do not want to make a second long article on the same subject. This is simply a substance of qualification and access to EU staff.

The most frequently checked subject (according to my media observations in the UK) is the case of Brexit and its impact on the labour market, or alternatively whether Brexit affected the deficiency of hands to work.

I will immediately answer that the situation is complicated and that certain apparent things are not entirely obvious. However, in government sources (and these are subject to authoritative non-party verification processes) this subject is addressed as crucial and significant.

No 1 can so say that these are subjective individual assessments. No! No! Brexit had enormously adverse changes in the labour marketplace that were not covered in any way for respective years. This is not only about the number of people taking part-time jobs during the summertime season, but besides about the professional preparation of people who take up work in various permanent jobs. That's what we're talking about - the employees' qualifications are being discussed, due to the fact that individual yet woke up and noticed this problem.

As I mentioned earlier, the labour marketplace in the UK is failing. There are no hands to work in many areas, not only in accommodation, catering, agriculture and care.

They will be right to mention that another countries are faced with a akin deficiency of hands to work, but, as I said, there is besides a deficiency of qualifications problem, which has been recognised by the government.

And now I gotta afford to digress from my own experiences and suspicions. 1 may disagree with me, but what I observed on the British labour marketplace was an unrecognized problem many years ago. What am I talking about? Professional qualifications in the labour market. What I have witnessed for many years is the fact that workers from the countries of the alleged east Europeans had higher qualifications than they were required in the competitions they performed. Higher qualifications, despite lower wages, allowed companies to avoid many problems in the complaint department, in the employment department (there were no many specialists needed since the Pole came and did it). Now that Europeans were missing, it turned out that many specialists were tragically missing. Let me interject the experience that has been shared by a client I have known for many years. Well, he ordered himself a fresh kitchen to live in. respective people worked on the installation. There were respective people liable for closing and beginning the water supply (two or three). Despite this, the client was cut off from the water supply for a week due to the installation of the kitchen. respective people brought in parts of the kitchen, others installed them. The owner of the company, whose client tried to explain what was incorrect with the linoleum, besides appeared, but this 1 only looked helplessly, shruged his arms, and ‘something dunked’ like ‘y, y, y’, as my friend said. I would not give this example as a deficiency of skilled people if it were a peculiar example. It wasn't a single example. It's just an outside reflection of an English friend who shared problems with me that I'm besides experiencing. all step of the way, I see a deficiency of competence and responsibility. All the more crucial is the content of government announcements on this subject and so I invitation you to read a deeper analysis here: ]]>Challenges related to deficiency of qualifications and labour shortages in the UK.]]>

A problem another than the level of professional preparation or even the deficiency of average logic that many people do not have is the issue of pay.

Governmental pay increases due to the fact that there are no hands to work. This is only a partial fact due to the fact that many companies with no hands to work just fell (and besides due to low qualifications and morale of employees).

Can Britain, then, after Brexit, talk about the success of the “exit” from the Union?

I think maybe, but only in a political dimension. What does that mean? That's another broad topic. For now I am finishing and inviting you to read this analysis in my article and to comment below.
