More than 50 countries want to negociate with the US on tariffs. It won't work?

Kevin Hassett, an economical advisor to the president, said on Sunday that more than 50 countries had approached the White home to negociate trade terms after the fresh tariffs were announced. At the same time, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick suggested that the tariffs would remain, dismissing an offer to cut tariffs from countries including Vietnam.
