More money for the floods. There's a Strasbourg appeal

The European Parliament has called on the European Commission to increase its backing for aid to floods and to better prepare the EU for natural disasters. Euro MPs want the Solidarity Fund "to be proportionate to the increasing number and severity of natural disasters in Europe".
