On June 28, the U.S. Department of State announced its consent to the possible sale of Norway to the second batch of Raytheon GBU-53/B SDB II bombs. The weapon is intended to be utilized to arm Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II multi-purpose combat aircraft.
