Morawiecki supported the candidate in Romania

Former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki supported George Simion's candidacy in the Romanian presidential election in Bucharest. The right-wing AUR party, led by Simion, belongs to the European Conservatives and Reformists organization in the European Parliament, as does PiS. Simion was previously supported by Calin Georgescu, a pro-Russian and right-wing politician who unexpectedly won the first circular of the cancelled elections last year.
