On Friday at the office of Law and Justice in Warsaw there was a gathering of the erstwhile Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki with organization president Jarosław Kaczyński.
The conversation afraid interior tensions in the group, mainly related to the activity of the Association improvement Plus, which Mateusz Morawiecki is associated with. After the meeting, PiS spokesperson Rafał Bochenek stated that the conversation was in a peaceful atmosphere, but did not resolve the fundamental issue of the continued functioning of political associations within the party.
After the meeting, Mateusz Morawiecki published an entry on social media, in which he deposed reports of a conflict with the president of PiS:
"An insidious man has not yet been born who will divide me with president Jarosław Kaczyński".
Morawiecki on divisions
The erstwhile Prime Minister besides referred to the actions of the current ruling coalition, assessing them as an effort to make divisions within the right:
"Donald Tusk one more time hoped for the same thing: that the right would take care of itself. That intrigue and gossip will do political work for him. It will not happen”
The current resolution by the Bureau of the Political Committee of the Law and Justice of 15 July remains, which obliges organization members to retreat from political associations. Parliamentarians have time to make statements on this by 23 July. The PiS spokesperson Rafal Bochenek recalled that those who do not comply with this request must be expected to launch the exclusion procedure from the ranks of the group through the Political Committee.
