Rafał Trzaskowski announced on Wednesday that erstwhile head of the National safety Bureau Jacek Siewara, became his social safety advisor. This caused rather a tense reaction, among others, from erstwhile Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.


Mateusz Morawiecki was asked in the Sejm on Wednesday, what is his opinion on Jack Siewiera.

- No, not at all. He was briefly head of BBN. I do not want to talk besides much due to the fact that he was at an crucial time erstwhile the war was going on in Ukraine, and these meetings were absolutely confidential, secret, so I cannot disclose the information (...), but I would not cooperate besides closely with this gentleman," he told the media what Polsat News quotes.

"I am glad that Minister Jacek Siewara responded positively to my invitation to cooperate as a social advisor. In the most crucial issues, it is worth reaching for the support of experts from different backgrounds" – wrote Rafal Trzaskowski on Wednesday.

"And Poland's safety is besides crucial to make a revolution in it all fewer years. A smart, long-term policy must be pursued. And be open to different points of view," he stressed.

Jacek Siewara is simply a qualified specialist in anesthesia and intensive therapy. His résumé is commendable – it is an officer, doctor and lawyer who has repeatedly demonstrated professionalism and dedication. For his merit he was distinguished both in the country and abroad.

In 2017, in his formed Clinical Division of Hyperbaric medicine of the Military Medical Institute, he conducted the world's first hyperbaric therapy of pilot MIG-29 after a device failure during flight. He took this risky action, risking his own wellness and life.

In 2012, Siewara was awarded the Medal of Sacrifice and Courage. The award was awarded by president Bronisław Komorowski at the request of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in designation of the rescue measures taken during the disaster at the Katowice global Fair in 2006.

The award is awarded to those who show peculiar courage and dedication in saving the lives of others.
