Monika Olejnik sharply about Trzaskowski's defeat: “He lost at his own request”

Following the announcement of the authoritative results of the presidential election, in which Karol Nawrocki defeated Rafał Trzaskowski with only 1.78 percent points, the vote on the case was taken by Monika Olejnik. A well-known TVN24 writer did not leave a dry thread on the KO staff, indicating errors that could have decided on the result of the election.

Monika Olejnik, moving the program ‘ Period over i’, in harsh words she commented on the defeat of Rafał Trzaskowski. In her entry on social media, she stated:

“Going to the top – this is not the end of the road, you gotta keep working on yourself! Success doesn't fall from the sky. Especially politicians forget that. Poland divided. The winner was Karol Nawrocki. Trzaskovsky Staff lost at their own request”.

Her words mention to allegations of deficiency of an effective run that did not convince adequate voters.

The oilman urges: “Stop aggression, halt hate”

The writer did not limit herself to criticism. She besides appealed to all politicians for unity in the fight against aggression in public life:

"And besides, without strong education there was and there will be no strong democracy. I have an appeal to ALL politicians – unite in the fight against aggression. Aggression is not right-wing, left-wing or liberal – it is tragic for everyone! #StopAggression #StopHejt”.

"Volta" by Juliusz Machulski – comedy or reality?

In her entry Olejnik besides referred to the movie ‘Volta’ Juliusz Machulski, in which she performed. She noted that although she initially considered him a comedy, after the election she began to see him as a reflection of Polish political reality:

“I got a call from manager Juliusz Machulski years ago. He invited me to participate in the 'Volta' comedy. By Sunday I thought it was #film. Turns out it is not a comedy – it is the same life”.

Election 2024: Nawrocki's minimum lead

PKW results confirmed the minimum advantage of Karol Nawrocki (50.89%) over Rafał Trzaskowski (49.11%). The turnout was 71.63%, which shows the large commitment of Poles to elections.

Was Trzaskowski's defeat due to staff errors or national political trends? Monika Olejnik's comment indicates that part of the work lies with the strategy of the KO campaign.
