With respect to today's conference, Mr Błaszczak, we inform you that:
- modernization of the Polish Army is simply a process which is inactive ongoing. However, we note that the Law and Justice Office did not leave the planned financial collateral for the contracts which it concluded in the majority initially. There were besides no financial guarantees for securing logistics and training in connection with the acquisition of modern equipment for the Polish Army. These deficiencies were estimated at over PLN 50 billion.
- the contracts for the acquisition of K2 tanks, the cannonhaubic K9, the Himars launchers left without adequate financial guarantees. In addition, the loans offered by the Korean side were to be renegotiated. It is hard to defy the impression that our taxpayers' interests have not been preserved here.
- the dialog between the PGZ and the Korean manufacture was suspended during the PiS term. It was the PGZ that ceased negotiations related to the Polishization of production of K2 tanks. The talks were resumed by the Group's fresh leadership.
- we're inactive working on strengthening air defense. The Iron Dome is another tool to defend us from threats. We are not offended by our allies, and we join forces to increase our powers of deterrence and defence.
"The east Shield is another task aimed at improving Poland's security. The threat from Russia did not come to us today. It is simply a pity that the erstwhile government did not come up with the thought of building additional reinforcements. present we could strengthen the project, not build it from scratch.
- the defence budget next year will be 10% higher than this year, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Finance have repeatedly informed about this. delight do not disinformation on this matter.
- we changed the terms of service of the soldiers on the border with Belarus. We found, among others, a deficiency of equipment and professional equipment. - we are constantly expanding and developing the Armed Forces of Poland. erstwhile you left the resort, you left a map with empty places where military units were to be built, without securing finances for their construction at the same time. The situation is akin with an increase in the number of Polish troops – you did not have prepared financial and logistical actions concerning the introduction of fresh soldiers.
- we remind you that many regulations were missing from the Home defence Act adopted by the Sejm, and there were legal gaps. It was this bill that abolished the civilian defence and imposed the request to reduce the wage by 50% to the soldiers facing charges. Today, it's been changed.
- the question of the usage of handcuffs against soldiers of the Polish Army best illustrates numbers. In 2021, they were utilized against soldiers 140 times, in 2022 189 times, and in 2023 as many as 202 times. During your word of office 570 times, handcuffs were utilized against soldiers of the Polish Army. You didn't protest then.
- changing the name from the Military Complementary Command to Military Recruitment Centers did not accelerate recruitment. But suspicions of mobbing and tormenting people began. We change that. We are restoring intellectual investigation for candidates for soldiers that you do not believe were needed if they were eliminated.
- we're strengthening our alliance relation all the time, not just the US. We strengthen bilateral cooperation and this, for example, within the Weimar Triangle. Poland is simply a trusted ally, which can be seen, among others, by reading the provisions of the NATO Summit, including those that specifically concern our country, among others, the launch of the rocket defence base in Redzikov and its inclusion in the NATO Defence strategy and the creation of JATEC in Bydgoszcz. It's just part of the stuff that we did at the NATO summit in Washington.
